School Fitness

 iKiFit in schools provides a cutting edge platform to engage children, teachers and parents, in activities that enhance resilience, physical fitness, social skills and behavior management, among many others.

Promoting the concept of being Happy, Healthy and Strong in all areas of life, iKiFit supports and strengthens your school values and behavior management strategies. iKiFit school programs are supported with many online resources and membership programs so that each individual school can choose the level of involvement that best suits them.

 The iKi Principles and Pledge support and strengthen the PBL system

An iKiFit School program consists of the following:

iKi

Combines elements of aerobics, martial arts, dance and general fitness activities, with a unique training aid, original music and a groundbreaking combination of pre-choreographed, Freestyle/Template presentation. Every Class commences with the iKi Principles and the iKi Pledge to set a safe, positive and empowering learning environment. Each class includes activities that engage and empower all participants, regardless of ability.

Schools can use any of the FREE online content as they wish--or can choose to engage iKi Crew to assist and train them on levels ranging from a once off visit to regular days. Many schools now choose to make iKiFit a significant part of their curriculum.

Warmup

Each level, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red and Black has it's own songs and movements and introduces more challenging movements for the higher levels. Like any good warm up, the iKi warm up tracks and activities prepare the body for the coming fun and challenges.

Warrior Drills

When the Instructor is appropriately qualified, Martial Arts Skills and Drills are included. These movements, based on generic boxing and kickboxing techniques, are empowering, accessible to all levels and excellent for fitness, co-ordination and self confidence .
(*Please note;- Not all iKi classes include Warrior Drills (if the Instructor does not have the appropriate qualifications or the audience chooses not to do them. Martial Arts movements can be dangerous.)

Cardio, Conditioning, Cooldown

Like any well constructed activity session, an iKiFit class progresses through warm up and skills sections, to a cardio section, a conditioning segment and concludes with a cool-down or stretch routine. Each section has its own Master Choreography and song or can be done in a variety of alternative formats- all provided with the Freestyle/Templates. This format is repeated with the different Levels (Green, Blue, and Red etc) - with more complex or demanding movements.

Each Class concludes with an AFFIRMATION segment

iKi Challenge

The iKi challenge is about undertaking new processes to become happy, healthy and strong. It is designed to be a Framework for Living (something we refer to as GrowWare) and is made up of four essential elements:
